Insect is the most widely varying classification of species and includes things like beetles, butterflies, wasps, and flies among many others. To start, I want to talk about one of my favourite and widely known type of insects: bumblebees

Bumblebees are prominent pollinators, they're also very velvety and fuzzy looking due to the fact their bodies are covered in soft hair called pile.

( I love when they land on me they're so fuzzy and delicate!! I may also be allergic to bees... oops :3 )

next up, is HERCULES BEETLE!!!!

(these fuckers are one of the largest flying insects in the world)

despite the name implying great strength, they can only carry about 100x their body weight (they also have a hard time moving while carrying it)

next up is the mountain pine beetle

i hate them but i think they look like the platonic ideal of a bug and thus i must love them
